Ok, I'm hoping that someone can help me with this. I want to get used to using my new controller that I got with my Blade 400 3D by using is on RF G3.5, I've got it connected, for the past 4 days I've been playing with it trying to get it to work, the controller is hooked up right, but it seems no matter what something is wrong or backwards as compared to the standard controller.
Can someone please help me?
thanks

I'm not near my G3.5 computer right now, but here goes...
Go to the menu where you select your controller, and choose "Axis Assignments" or something to that effect (last choice in the three choice menu).
Move one of your DX6i controller sticks right and left and notice which blue bar moves. If you move your stick left, and the bar slides right, click on the "reverse" checkbox.
Double-check that your assignments are correct - i.e. throttle really is throttle (throttle in G3.5 = pitch for helis, roll really is roll, etc.).
Hope this helps!
While I'm here - does anyone know how to get G3.5 to recognize more channels than the six it does, or is that the limit? For example, I'd like to use more switches on the DX6i controller, but only one is detected by the sim.

Where did you get the cord that goes from your DX6i to your computer? I would like to do the same thing but I cant find a cord.

I've written a very comprehensive guide on how to do this:

Can it be done with SmartPropoPlus and PPJoy? My dog ate the cable that came with G3.5 :arggg:.

I have no clue where any of my cords went to. Where can you get new cords? I would love to power up the sim using my controller so that I could get used to it.

I'd say you're out of luck. I tried getting my g3.5 controller working for g4 and it doesn't. The controllers work find for free sims because they act as a usb joystick. But RF and I expect Phoenix check to see if the correct controller is connected.

G3.5 Interlink will still work with G4, you need the Interlink Elite to launch G4 and validate the anti-piracy, but both will work.
You will see two entries under the Controller menu: Interlink Elite, and Interlink Plus.
If using split screen two people can fly at the same time.

And, if you then remove the Elite, you can continue using just the Plus controller. Mind you, the aircraft reset doesn't work and you have to reload the aircraft after a crash.
We didn't want to run split-screen because it was only a laptop screen. What we were hoping for is being able to network a version of g3.5 with a version of g4 but that didn't work either. What a pain in the a$$.

Hi,
i bought a USB-Cable at www.rc-discount.de (http://www.rc-discount.de/store/product_info.php?products_id=643) for my Dx6I and it works without any problems, no drivers needed.
Only thing is to calibrate and setting up in Simulator software like FMS, Aeroflight Deluxe etc. and thatīs it!
Greetings

Thanks for the detailed instructions, i do have a question about the settings under tarvel adjust, I set them all to 125% but i noted your diagram shows the arrow next to pitch control in the down position and mine is up. Not sure on how do i change that, or if it is even relevant. Thanks

move your pitch stick up, and the arrow will change. Do this with all your control surfaces.

There is a dongle emulator available to let you use your own transmitter/joystick if you have problems with the interlink. It's technically illegal, but if you paid for your copy of G4 there is nothing wrong with it.
