Hey all,

I have a stock motor (850kv), carbon 500 blades, I think I have the 15t pinion. I just want to know if I should be limiting my throttle curves. Is it safe to use a 100% throttle curve on the stock motor? I have only flown in normal mode but don't want to use idle up 1 until I know it is safe.

Regards

Paul.

Hi Paul,

Unless you get insane headspeeds it is safe to use with the carbons,
I suggest to putt your throttle curve down a little, then measure headspeed first...
and then if its safe open it up, as long as you stay below 2100 HS,
your fine without the raptor v2 tail upgrade and the plastic bladeholders (finless tip)

I ran my stock Hurri with the RCP carbons and plastic grips at a flat 100% curve with no problems, when I upgraded motors I then upgraded to metal grips. I felt you almost had to have the flat curve to get any peformance from the stock setup, it acctually flew well and I got about 6.5-7 minutes from evo 2500 packs.
