big enough gyro?

Will the gy401 be able to hold the tail of my vigor suficiently? I cant do too much 3d yet but what would be the limit for the gyro?

That gyro will fly essentially any helicopter as long as you use the appropriate servo. It is quite capable of 3d up to and including backwards flight, but the piro rate is somewhat inconsistent. So once you get into piro flips, piro funnels, etc. you will want to think about upgrading :)

It currently has a Futaba S9254 digital servo on the tail, is that good enough you think?

Thanks, just practice^3.

That servo should be fine. I used one on my trex 600 with the 401 for quite some time (400-ish flights) before finally going to the 611 / 9256 combo.

hey thanks a lot. It was definitely fun making the vids. I'm working on so much piro stuff now that making an onboard vid of that kind of flying might just make people sick... lol :)
