Shannon let me borrow his Ion-X and 14MZ last night to try. Man what a nice feeling and precise radio!! Thanks for sharing Shannon!!

Those sticks are SOOOO Smooth and free and easy. I figured the radio would feel big and heavy in my hands but it actually feels really good and solid, but very nice. I could hear Shannon saying Condition Hold, Idleup 1, ect... It was kinda like flying with Shannon even though he was not there.

Will, I agree with you on the 14mz its what i would call silky smooth. almost too smooth to be honest. but I love it anyway

The master just found this section :) Nice work Eric! The 14 I do believe needs heavier springs. I used to put heavier ones on all my 9Z's. I would want the factory to do that on this radio though. Even with stick tension as high as possible, still feels a little loose for my taste.

I love my new 14mz!!!!! It was so easy to program once I read everything through. I wish the battery would last longer though. the servo response is amazing. my only problem is trying to get it to change freqs without connecting the DSC.

14MZ frequency change, hear is what I have found to work. First the only way to know if it changed is to turn the TX off ant back on to see if it worked, the RX never twitches the one servo channel like the manual says it should. What I do and works every time for me is to collapse the antenna to 12 to 14” and stick the antenna inside the canopy on the side the RX is on and go through the procedure to change the frequency, works every time.
