CF tail booms

Has anyone here tried any of the carbon fiber tailbooms made for the lepton/hdx500? I'm considering the one that helidirect sells for my lepton.

If my memory serves me well it is plug and play just as good as the the stock.Haven't touched my Lepton in over a year though so take it with a grain of salt.

Well, I went ahead and ordered a few things from helidirect so I'll let you guys know how things turn out when they arrive.

Well everything except a pair of bananas showed up the other day. The tail boom fits fine except you need to elongate the tailcase mounting holes just a smidge. It looks really nice. I also purchased their swashplate leveler which I like better than the one that was sold here. Unfortunately they made the "feet" a little bit too long so they rest on the ball links instead of the swashplate itself but it seems to work fine anyway.

Thanks for the report, I may try out that CF Tail tube later. Glad to know it fits.

I have to say the weather this afternoon here in Dallas was BEAUTIFUL and I am having a blast flying my Lepton!! Starting to get the hang of FF and Nose in hovering and this machine REALLY handles great!!
