Hello !
I have buy a spektrum module for futaba.
I must insert the bind plug in the charge plug receptacle. But my power switch have only 2 wires (+ and GND)
Also, I can't bind !
How can I do ? The servo move correctly, but I haven't a fail safe position.
Thanks you !

Are you sure you have bought the right receiver?
Futaba do not use "Spektrum", their technology is called FASST.
I have the 2.4Ghz Futaba 6EX and it does not use the bind plug system.
What transmitter do you have and what receiver did you buy?

Plug the bind plug into the battery port on the receiver and plug the battery or plug from your switch into the throttle port. Then bind the receiver.
Jackal, Spektrum makes a module that fits Futaba transmitters.

Yes, I am. I have a DM8 module and a AR7000 receiver. I have a FUTABA FF9.
thank you capebob !

If the servo move to stick movements, you are already bound.
But follow capebob to rebind.
WHen you bind you set two things.
1) You set fail safe on the throttle ONLY. Fail safe for all other channels is neutral.
2) You set inital servo position for when the system is powered up, but the Rx has not yet linked to the Tx. In this case, the throttle signal is not supplied.
On the AR9000/R921 you can choose whether to do the above or actually set all controls for fail safe positions.

Ok, the servo move to stick movements, but when i switch OFF the TX, all channels is neutral, except the throttle: It is full open !
I wan't to close it for fail safe position.

Yeah, I was thinking of that, Futaba backwards throttle.
SO you need to rebind to get that set.
As was said, put the bind plug into the Batt port on the Rx, and apply power to any other servo connector or you can use a Y cable.

As Pinecone said Futaba and JR/Spekturm servos operate backward from each other. The reason you throttle is failsafing to full is that your throttle is operating backward. Revers your throttle channel and with the throttle stick closed rebind.

Well not only will the throttle be reversed. But all the rest of the channels should be reversed also. Futaba and JR send opposite pulses from each.
So will probably have to reverse the direction on the rest of the channels also.

It's ok now, I have rebind the receiver with the bind plug into the battery port, and plug from the switch into the throttle port.
thank you !
