Motor Vibration

Hi all

When running my stock ace motor disconnected from main gear i get fair amount of high frequency vibration( got about 40 7min flights on it now). .. is this normal?

Posed this on another site, but it quickly "fell off the radar" without any feedback. Maybe it's just us...

"I've been chasing a drifting tail issue on my Helicopter (Mini Titan, GY401, 9650). I stripped everything off so I just had a chasis with the motor mounted (no tail, main gear or rotor head). When I run up the motor (ZPower Z-10 3300, spinning bell), I get a substantial vibration through the chasis.

Any tips on trying to dynamically balance this motor with "common man" tools?

Any suggestions from those that have tried and succeeded would be appreciated. Thanks."
