One of the attractions of a multi-gear heli is lots of options. Has anyone got a efficiant power setup with the guai 1100. At the moment I have ordered a 50T front gear and a 13T or 14T pinion to extend flight times. I only do some mild rolls and loops so this setup should do the trick? My calcs get me to a HS of 1600 - 1700, depending on the pinion.
Any comments.

You're using 6s? Why not use a 12t pinion? This setup is quit common here in Austria/Germany. The 12t pinion comes from Quick, but works quit well with an Gaui setup. 11t would be an option too...

Hi!
The local dealer for this can be found there:
http://www.heli-shop.com/index.php?lang=en
Goto to the shop and search for HEP0060E12
There're are maybe better options for people outside of Europe... I've seen readheli sells pinions too which should fit. Perhaps there are some other shops with Quick parts?!

ISA are you also trying to make your 1100 more efficiant? I have a 50T on the way which will bring me from just over 2K down to about 1700 which should be fine for now. Quite weird my 450 runs so well at 3K?
