Just for the record, I think the Avro is a beautiful looking helicopter. If it had parts support here in the States and only cost about $1200, I would buy it.

I plan on making some Canopies to shapen up the look of mine,,
I'm working on the chemical process of making them right now,
I'm going to try some pretty wild shapes and see what happens,
I'll be using a Hybrid material 50/50 Carbon Fiber & Cavlar.

As a previous Avro owner I too believe it’s superb machine and anyone can troll my profile to see all the machines I have owned. I agree with Clayk regarding price for the US however I also know several synergy owners with all the latest upgrades adding up to more then an Avro purchased in the US. In the end you pay for the quality and service i.e. no upgrades and they recently shipped out a revised headblock to all its existing customers for free. If you have the budget my choice would be the Avro, if you dont then there are plenty of other machines to choose from.
FYI, Dazza recently won the 3D comp at the Scottish nationals with an Avro flown against several well known US brands and top 3D pilots. This puts the weight banter to question as they are certainly not the lightest machines out there but also not the heaviest by far.
