I tell you guys I am havin one hell of a month.... two weeks ago I broke a flybar wire in flight and lost my #1 ship..then I get my #2 ship all hooked up and then 2 days ago I dumb thumbed it right into the dirt. not to bad just shafts and blades servo gears and a canopy... today on the test flights on my #3 bird I lost the tail rotor control rod.... Autoed and no damage..........I sure hope this is the end of my bad luck........ sure hope that MA starts shipping the stratus soon...

I understand - I had not crashed for almost two years and then lost one ship due to a faulty RX switch - switched to solid states switches there and then nailed my second ship when a screw backed out and obstructed the bell-crank.
Thats the hobby - hopefully the next or so will be great again,
Jeff

chris: in the last year I have broken about 10 of those collars... they are very weak and thin at the screw and slot joint... I now push and pull on the rotor head very hard befor each flight cuz of them. I guess I just try to make them to tight...
