Just curious if anyone knows of the new Stratus tank mount will work on the last gen non-Bobby Watts frame set. I like the new style Stratus tank but can't run it since I'm running fuel pressure and an OMI fuel magnet.

FWIW, I asked Bobby and it turns out you can use the new mount with the old school frames.

I'm referring to the actual Stratus tank (which is the newest one).

When you run the OMI fuel magnet along side a fuel system that gathers pressure from the muffler, unless you refuel immediately after every flight, the exhaust gases will eat away the fuel magnet very quickly. Even if you do refuel after every flight, the magnet will still be eaten as a fast rate. The solution to this is to run the old style Fury tank so that you have really easy access to the tank cap so you can replace the magnet when needed. But now that there will be a new style tank mount, you will be able to remove the tank by taking off four hex bolts as opposed to clipping away zip ties. So servicing a fuel magnet with a new style Stratus tank will become MUCH easier in my opinion.

You using the Cline regulator on your 91SZ? You pressurizing the fuel tank from the crankcase?
If not I would think you have the OS 91 SZ with a pump. That is not a pressurised fuel system like the YS

it's like a ys (closed system) pressure line from the back of the crankcase to the fuel tank. with a check valve ,omi regulator and modified carb from james oneal.

Reduce the spigot underneath the tank by half. This will allow the tank to be removed without doing any disassembly. To secure that tank, I use 2 zip ties per side and I make sure that they are tight.
When the zip ties are tight, the tank doesn't move even though the spigot is reduced.
