Hi Everyone
need some advice, on just my third flight with a new brushless motor the thing burned out.
was hovering and put the blade's into the ground but was only a tiny hit didnt even damage the blades at all but the motor stopped working properly. Worked only in tiny jerks that were not fast enough to barely spool up and then a puff of smoke!
so upon checking the motor the wire loops inside do appear somewhat blackened.
so my question is......is the engine dead?, have i damaged my speed controller? and what do i do in the future to prevent it? i did notice that the speed controller and Lipo were also hot. :(
any ideas?
