FMS8 and CPD4 confusion?

Hi, im a complete noob and need some help here ! ;-)

has anyone try'd the fs8cp on a flacon3d?

the reasom im asking, is because i ordered a cpd-4 and am told its out of stock for 3 weeks, but now im thinking maybe i should get the fms8 so if i decide to get a full ccpm heli, then i can use it on that also to train with..... i saw the ART TECH shark 450 and want to buy it but i dont know if the cpd4 will work on it? is "120 degree ccpm system" in the specs.

the cpd4 says it doesnt work with ccpm helicopters, but works on the falcon? i thought the falcon 3d was ccpm....? im confused..... would the cpd-4 work on the ART-Tech shark 450 like it does on the ART tech falcon 3d? if it does, id use it in both......?

The Falcon is not ccpm, it is mechanically mixed. I had a CPD4 on my Falcon, took it off after two flights because I realized it wasn't going to do what I needed it to. It worked well, but I wanted to learn in a different manner, I bought a flight sim instead. I still have the CPD4 sitting in it's box. I had it for sale but got little interest in it..

that clears a few things up for me.....

what are you planning to do with the CPD-4? as i am getting one, but a buddy may be interested in one after he see's mine working. if you would like to sell it let me know.:thumbup:

Well I had it in the classified section for $55 shipped, but I don't really care if I sell it, as I might have a use for it down the road.

I e-mailed FMA and asked it the FS8 co-pilot would work with
both an eCCPM and an mCCPM heli.

They said YES that it would work in either.

Color me surprised...I thought the FS8 was only for eCCPM.
Wrong....it's for both....

Plus the FS8 has so many awesome features it amazings. I
should have got that one.
