Well I got to try some of these and thought I would do a mini review about them. Nothing special just show how they go in the head, the differences, and a little flying by a buddy of mine and his opinion.

I only have a couple flights myself so too soon for me to say but based on looking at the hardness and material I think these are going to perform and last better than the stock dampers. Flying wise the head did feel tighter and I am only using the middle stiffness ones! My buddy tried the hardest orange ones and the video shows what he thinks.

I think the big benefit is going to be longevity as the stock dampers seem to wear out pretty fast and for you guys wanting extreme dampening the orange ones are MUCH harder than stock.

So here ya go! Enjoy!

How much time can I expect out of the stock 600N dampers? And how long do you think the K&B ones will last?

I think i need to pick up a set of tail blades and some dampers, :)

Bob,

Does it seem to you that these might put much more stress on the thrust bearings, or have they been sized in thickness a little smaller to allow for similar pre-load (given harder material, less crush distance should be needed to pre-load the bearings...)?

Thanks,
-Chris

When Jim first put them in yea they were a little tight but after the first flight all was perfect. They are the proper thickness just harder materials.

Yes. I have been runing that tube since it came out. It helps to keep the spindle from moving around too much. Doesnt help damper wear though.

Are there many people using these dampeners ?

I tried the green ones today on my 600 N .

It gives me more wobble then the 80-s from align .

I don't fly with such a highheadspeed , cause I'm just flying around no 3D

But I had to increase the headspeed when I placed the K&B dampers , to get the wobbling stop .

These dampers are made harder and last longer... If your not doing higher head speeds then these may not be for you.... What head speed where you running on the green ones?
