I would also put some larger holes inthe top of the canopy, I cut 2 half moons in mine right on top of the motors at the end of the windshield

If you look closely at the canopy you can see where Gaui recomend that you cut the holes.

Sorry - don't know I'm afraid, but both of my plastic 550 canopies have them

I didn't even notice them.. I just took a dremel to it and went to town...

Well this is my cooling. Not sure if it is as effective, but give the vents that nice "scale" look. The three slots cover quite a large area and are slightly in front of the motor. I am going to ad a small 5v 25mm pc fan internally as well, only weighs 7g. The heat that the gaui motors give off freaks me out a little.

BTW, what is the best tool to create such nice holes in that fragile Canopy ?

I used a Multi-Tool like this -> http://www.jabo24.de/Dremel-Hobby-Tool-Kit-80-tlg-Zubehoer-flexible-Welle_p77_rx251_sid348a770de8cf9df9dcfc57d46c21c20 b_x2.htm
Got it for under 20€ at an discounter and worked really great!

I used the "sand-stone" cone shaped fitting for my dremmel, seems to cut and drill nicely. Dont turn the speed to high or you will melt the plastic. Afterwards someone suggested that I tape/mask the area, apparently you get a better edge?
