I'm working on installable versions for both Windows and Mac. This will allow me to do updates to the database and allow you to keep all your data intact.
If you use the current version, you will be able to import your data, but it will more of a manual process. Later versions will use a one button import option for old data.
I will provide instructions on how to do it all.
If you have any feature requests or find any problems, please PM me.
Thank you

A new version was release by Mearlin!
I also added it to the first post of trhis thread.
NEW UPDATE 4/9/2008
A new version with an installer for Windows users. It includes a readme.txt file on how to import the data from the old version into this version.
Here is the download link:

Mine works on OS X, just have to rebuild the runtime. I could use some help with making an installer :)
But make one, I'd like to see it, use anything I've done with the one I've built. If you want to add any ideas to the one I'm doing, please feel free to PM me.
I'm without a Mac for about 2 weeks probably, maybe less.
For anyone who knows or uses FileMaker, I'll gladly give you the database file. If enough want it, I'll ask Finless to put it up as well, it's only 500k, the runtime files are what causes it to be so big.

Hi mearlin,
I'm having a hard time importing. I'm only getting one Aircraft installed out of the 3 in the old logger. I Also only get 8 flights imported the rest aren't being included for some reason. Any ideas?
Thanks much,
Ron

Drag and drop works just fine for me. Something that many developers to when distributing their Mac apps is to include an alias to the /Applications folder in the zip file. Installing then becomes as simple as dragging the folder to the alias.

I may end up doing that, was trying to use PackageMaker which is part of the Developer tools for Mac.
As soon as I get my Mac back, I will make a 1.2 version runtime for the Macs.

I'm 6 projects deep at the moment at work. I hope to have the version for the Mac and for the PC done in a few more weeks, maybe a bit more.
They will have reports with graphs; Showing flight time per aircraft, battery usage time, etc.

I have been using this one for a couple of months:
http://www.lammers.ca/FlightLog/
It hasn't been updated for a while (3yrs), but works nicely on XP and Vista. It has all the options, and even tells you how many flights you have had for the month/year and total flight times as well. It will also do this for the parts that are assigned to the heli.
