Hi guys.

During the second flight on my 600, i noticed the nose slowly rotating to the left. I didn't pay any attention to it on the maiden because i was flying in 15 mph winds sideways.

I know you're not supposed to trim the rudder with heading hold, but not sure what or how to adjust it. Is it the linkage between the bellcrank and the pitch slider?

I'm using the x9303, kinda new to it, so not sure if i have something set wrong in there.

Thanks for any help,
Sc0tt

well, if hh is on, the nose should not swing. maybe try upping the gain a little. if you need to make a mechanical adjustment then yes the linkage is where to do that. if your tail servo is boom-mounted then you could just slide the servo back or forth on the boom and that will make the same adjustment as the linkage.

Did you set up the tail in rate mode? IIRC the 770 needs this done.

The other thing to check is your tail drive system. Grap the tail hub and main hub and try to twist against each other. It there is motion, find out what is lose/slipping and fix it.

Yes I think it's an issue of needing to adjust the linkage for zero drift in rate mode, then it won't drift in HH.

I also have a very slow drift with my 770. I haven't been able to fly it for quite a while now but when I do I'm going to attempt this first.
