DX7 mode1 or mode2

Got my DX7 today. I ordered mode2 for for heli, so how do I tell If i received a mode2?

throttle on left stick is mode 2

Thanks, I knew that, but how do I tell if the Throttle is on the left? Any way to tell this physically or on the lcd?

the throttle stick will not be spring loaded to return to center (Up and down). The cyclic stick will be spring loaded in both directions
