Hiya Freaks,
Just tried to power up DX-7 and it is completely dead.
I Tried to charge it and no red light on power supply either!!
However charger is working because my setup pack is getting a red light on the charger.
Any Help would be greatly appreciated.

Probably a stupid question..... Is the battery plugged in to the radio?

Sound's like it's the fuse. You'll have to open the case and replace it. Just a guess but it would be consistent with the charger LED not coming on.
I've had to replace mine twice but both cases it was my fault. I unplugged the charger leads from the charger (Bantam BC-8) before unplugging from the transmitter. They touched and took out the fuse.
Thanks for quick response.
Yes battery is plugged in, I also disconnected it and then reconnected.
Battery was over 10volts when I finished flying today

I had the same problem about 6 months ago, was not smart enough to ask here and had to wait 2 weeks to get it back from (free) repair. ;-)

I think the real question we should all be asking ourselves is...
Why did the fuse blow? and Could this happen while in use?
I believe the fuse blew when i was plugging in to recharge. The transmitter was working fine that day. after I went to charge it , it was dead. I think I plugged the a/c power supply in first before connecting the charger. so now I connect to the charger first. No Problems since.
Thanks for everyones help again
