I am doing some maintenance on an Ion and wanted to get some input here. I am trying to remove the radial tail grip bearings and am having a heck of a time getting them out. The just press fit in the tail grips but I can get them from the backside due to the plasitic flange that hides them.

Left to my own devices I could probably get them out, but the bearings, grips, and my vice would all be worse for wear.

Anyone have a suggestion on how to remove these bearings "nicely" :)

Heat the blade grip in the area where the bearing is located with a heat gun. Then stick a screw driver or something close to the ID of bearing thru the ID of the bearing. Wiggle the grip and the object thru the bearing and it should just pop out.
I have most of the times just been able to wiggle the grip while it is still on the tail hub and get the bearing to come out. I do this with the nut taken off the tail hub.
