I've been thinking about moving from my 9C Super to the new JR X9303...

Remember also, that the "complete" package comes with a RX pack and switch harness.
Even if you *only* get $70 for the servos, your still way ahead when you consider that Todd's price is $100 less than everyone else.
Just my nickels worth.

When I got mine, the owner of the LHS was nice enough to take the servos out and charge me $100 less and I still got the batt. and switch harness as well. Gotta give them props for that!

I meant you use the Gear channel and use endpoints to set gain. Works for lots of people.
The problem with the mix of FM to gear is you can switch between rate and HH with the Flight Mode, but you can't have different gain settings for each Flight Mode.
Otherwise use AR7000s.
You can have different HH gains or rate gains using the ch5 and flight mode switch.
In device sel : inhibit all (gear,aux2,aux3,aux4)
Mix Fmod to gear , now you are directed to points 1 (norm) 2(ST1) 3(ST2)when you use the flight mode switch, input the needed values (from 0 to 100) in the points and now you have what you need.
Hope you all found usefull.

Well, so am I. But what do you guys do about the lack of a throttle started timer function?
Do you always have to remember to flick an auxiliary switch for the timer or do you use an external stopwatch????

You just learn to hit the button. Or wait for the 12X.
So my spool up is flick off Throttle Hold. Raise stick to mid. Hit timer button, switch to Idle Up and take off.
Todds still backordered... damn.... any idea when anyone will have them in stock?

thx I'll try this
looked in my seutp last night and got confused. So many options and I'm not well enough versed plus the instruction manual is confusing to me :arggg:
Maybe I was in too much of a hurry last night when trying to read it as Kids were bugging me.

I was having an issue with my gyro as the rudder servo was basically "stuck" either full one way or the other. When I put the end points down near +0 it would move, but even at 20-30 the rudder servo started to spaz.

Have you set up a gyro before?

Todd's takes backorders and ships when they come in. You will probably have to wait another month before the totally catch up.
I bought mine from RC Hover. More expensive, but I got it in 3 days. :)

Hi Terry,
Thats a bummer. You mean at Todds, you have to pay... and then wait 30 days?

Watch a few of Finless's gyro setup videos. Radio to radio it does not change that much.
These are good:

http://www.helifreak.com/showthread.php?t=37202
But I would watch EVERY SINGLE ONE of these setup videos:
http://www.helifreak.com/showthread.php?t=11373 the 401 video is here (http://video.helifreak.com/?subpath=finless/trex450&filename=gyro_setup.wmv)

NO, you order, and they do not charge your credit card until it ships. But it doesn't ship until they get some in.
I had a wierd thing with them, as I ordered, and then called about the status. At the time the web page showed BIG RED BACKORDERED on some items, and on a little black Backordered on others.
I commented on that, feeling they should have been consistant. But that I was fine with the backorder.
I did find that RC Hover had them in stock, and Jeremy gave me a discount to order that day, and so when I went to call Todd's back about cancelling my order, it was already gone from their system.
Only thing I could figure is they didn't like my comments on their webpage.
Oh well, I can get my stuff somewhere else.
And this wasn't my first order, as I had bought a module and a coupleof fairly large orders of Rxes and some other stuff from them.
