Since there isnt an e-sky forum I will post this here. I have a honneybee cp2 with a DX& and a brushless setup that I cant get to fly and I cant figure out why. I have even taken it to two LHS's with no luck. it has +- 10* pitch with the main motor disconectedbut when the rotors are spinning it dosnt get any lift at all until I quickly drop then bring the throttle back up at wich time it tries to rip it self out of my hand. everything in the head looks and feels good the servos are moving like they should but I just cant figure it out. I was going to rebuild everything from the swash plate up but that ends up being alot of time and money for somthing that may or may not work. does anyone have any ideas?

I could be off (as usual) but it sounds like the motor is about shot. That or the batteries are going bad.

the motor is new and batteries are good. like I said if I flick the throttle it has more than enough power to take off.

Sounds like maybe the pitch is reversed. Are you sure it has + pitch when the throttle is raised? Thats the only thing I can think of, that you are spinning it up and as you raise the throttle it is going into negative pitch. Either that or its spinning entirely the wrong way, but I can't say for sure as i do not own a cp2, just guessing the rotors will normally spin clockwise viewed from above. It is going to be something overlooked when you find out what it is let us know.

the pitch is right, the blades are on the right way snd the rotor is spinning the right way. Maby people arent understanding what I am saying about flicking the throttle. when I throttle up normally there is no lift at all even at full throttle but if I quickly drop to zero throttle then back to full throttle it has far more lift than any micro heli needs.

Only 1 thing then, servos are binding up and not allowing the blades to give pitch. Take all of your links off and move everything by hand, it should be smooth as butter and very easy to move the whole swash around and up and down, if it isn't then you need to find where it is binding and fix it.
