Goodmorning to all
Yesterday I tried to set different ATV's of rudder
on my new T14
But I noticed that when I switch the different conditions
it is the same
How is it possible to get different ATV?
Thank you very much

Giuseppe,

Not positive because I have not done this but if I where to guess I would say you do this the same way you got different throttle curves in your different conditions. You will need to un-group (put in single mode) your rudder ATV in the condition you want to change. Find the little box that sys group next to the ATV in your ATV screen and press it to change it to single.

It’s 4:30 am hear now and I only got up to let the dogs out so I aint going to check the TX to see if I am right, let me know if I am on the right track, if not I will check it out and see if I cant figure it out :glasses:

"You will need to un-group (put in single mode) your rudder ATV in the condition you want to change. Find the little box that sys group next to the ATV in your ATV screen and press it to change it to single"...

Ok sorry it’s not there. You need to go to your “AFR (D/R)” screen; this is where you can set different values for EXPO A & B as well as Rate A & B. While in the AFR screen go to rudder then into idle 1 or 2 (which ever one you want to make different then the rest) and push the Gr. Button, it will ask you yes or no, hit yes then set your rate value for rate A & B that you want to try and your done

:) Russ got it.

You can group or ungroup each condition. I group everything but my normal mode. In normal I run less ATV and more EXPO so I can actually hover  Some people like to set them all the same and others like them all different.

Asap I'll try this night the different ATV settings
as you suggested

Thank you very much
for everything

Eric,

From looking at your videos you don't hover much :D . What ATV and Expo do you run in normal and why?

I've thought of trying that but haven't messed around with it.

Hi, Been gone for a few days so just catching up on email.

I set normal mode for hovering. In normal I run 75% ATV and around 35% expo so I get a nice smooth feel even with a very aggressive setup.

In idle up I run about 25% expo on the 14MZ and 100% ATV's.

I just set it up for my preference. My heli is very aggressive and I sacrifice some stability and tracking to get the extreme performance. That requires me to fly the heli most of the time and really stay on the sticks. It can be set up very stable also, it is just a preference thing. I don't think there is a right or wrong with expo, just run what you prefer.

Good luck,
