Any Trex 500 Suggestions on fuse size

The 30 size fuses from Heli-World and others should fit. Check their chart of helis for fitments & measure yours & compare to the ones listed. You will probably have to fettle the mounts a bit. I'm sure Align will eventually make some scale fuses for their 500/600 helis, but right now I'm sure they are busy with the 700.

An Align 500 would be lost in any 30 size fusulage. I am thinking of making my own.

Sorry for bringing up an old thread, but has anyone seen any nice scale bodies for a Trex-500 since these old posts were made? Now that the 500 has been out for a while now, has there been any new activity?

I do not know the release dates. Fuselages for the TREX 500 are planned, but I don't have info on which types.

What do you guys think is a reasonable price for the fuselage kit?

Shouldn't be much more than $200 with retracts.

Would definately go for it if it was in the $200.00 range but that seems to be way to low for fuse this size. If look at an airwolf for the rex 600 you are going to pay $450-$600 or more depending on the quality and detail. I would spend no more than $350 on this size fuse but would figure somewhere in the $280-300 range. Really want an MD500 for my rex500 so is there any news on a plan for that yet.

Helidirect shows it for $225.00 and available on 7/3/08. Damn, I just spent my allowance on a new charger last week. :arggg: Looks like I will have to figure out a way to hide another heli purchase from the wife for a couple of weeks.

Here is another choice .. The E-Cobra fits the Swift 16 ,T-Rex 500 and the Logo 10 as well as a few others, you may have to modify the mounting but thats an easy task.(It's Wood!!) just drill the mounts to fit.
