I didn't see this one listed here, so I figured I'd start a thread.
Quoting from Shawn's post on another site:
There will be the typical events such as Novice through Expert competition, auto contest, and drag races. This event has some of the nicest plaques I've seen ( and won )

Food services available all three days along with onsite camping.

Registration is $35. You can pre-register for $25 until May 7th.

Please contact George Vargo for more info at gfvargojr@aol.com or you can email me via Runryder.

Thanks!

Shawn

Last year, even though I was just there to spectate, I was the winner of the big raffle prize. At the time, I was still on the training gear with my Hawk.

Instead of selling the kit I won, I built it. It took me way longer than expected. I'm just now getting it broken in. But that gave me time to build up my skills, and do the damage, with the Hawk.

So, I'm bringing my Fury back to Richland. When I won this thing last year, as my name was announced, I was met with stunned silence. I guess it's a little hard to cheer for somebody you never saw before. I hope to meet more of you this time.

That would be great Russ.

Our LHS just closed down and I am scrambling trying to figure out what to do for fuel.

Tabb,

Looks like I have to do a test flight/work on Friday. I hope I can talk them into to doing it on Thursday if all goes well.

I'll hit the road whenever I'm done. See you over there.

Jason only if you hang two more engines on that thing

No really things have changed. We test fly it tomorrow, and if all is well I am free on Friday.

Thanks,

Jeff

Have fun guys...
Forcast is for clouds and rain.
No way I can get over the pass in that without filing IFR and I'm not rated.....yet. :D

Going to hang with the Scale guys at Brooks for the weekend and get my fix. :D

Jeff, you are way ahead of me man! I am trying to figure out how to rig up 3 chargers in the front of my truck to get everything charged by the time I get there!

I agree on the amount of #$%*! I thought I did pretty good and had it all loaded then realized I hadnt packed any clothes or my tent!

Drive safe guys!

Hope you guys stayed dry.
Brooks was ok. Rained like hell on Thursday I guess and then some good thunder bumpers through on Friday.
Today was not bad though. Got a bunch of flying done. :D

If it is this wet in a few weeks though plan on using Jeff's driveway to get in. The dirt road was a total mud hole. :D

Friday was excellent and yesterday (Saturday) it started raining around 3:30 or so. There was a bunch of flying in the morning though.

There's a guy here with a professional video camera all day yesterday so hopefully he got some good stuff.

Cloudy this morning but hopefully not too bad for flying. I don't see any rain outside the hotel room.

Cheers,

Jeff
