I am upgrading my charger to TP1010 and I was wondering if it will communicate with the 205 Balancer.

Only if the balancer is in a good mood. If it wakes up on the wrong side of the bed, watch out brother trouble city.
J/k. The short answer is yes.:)

Since we are on the subjest.I just got the 1010 and it does not come with an output cable for a tp battery or any other .Is there some where you can get the item to make up different cables for different battery brands?
i also have the tp 210 balancer so I can still charge. Thanks for any help!

MB, the output cable should match whatever you use for your packs. You'll need a pair of banana plugs for the charger, and Deans or whatever your preferred plug is for the battery side. You can buy these but it's usually cheaper to solder them yourself.
If you're referring to the cable that goes between the charger and the balancer, that should have come with the balancer. To balance other packs you can purchase adaptors at all the usual suspects-last time I checked http://www.commonsenserc.com/page.php?page=accessories_html.php was the most inexpensive.
