It is a 2s Lipo 2100 mAh 7.4V with 2 RX connecters, no BEC connectors. At the present, I am connecting my old RX battery (1100 mAh) into an external Align BEC with lamps that indicate voltage levels, and then it connects to the RX. The new Lipo has more power duration and states on the label "superior voltage stablility". But I have no way of knowing when it discharges to an unsafe level other than checking it with my TP1010. Should I just cut the wires and attach a BEC connector so I can still have the luxury of knowing in an easy visual way what level of charge is left in this battery after each flight? Any advice?

That's exactly what I did, cut the wires and installed a connector that hooks up to the BEC, then you are good to go.

And I just did what you did. Thanx! Just needed a second opinion.
