Ok, after a near fatal crash of my brand new CP400, I decided to buy a CX2 as too fine tune my skills. (although the crash was the result of a servo that stripped a gear). I have been flying the CX2 for about 2 weeks now but have not been able to trim out the helicopter so that it doesn't "turn" on its own. The nose constantly wants to turn to the right. I have turned the gain all the way up and even have the trim all the way to the right to make up for it. The nose still creeps to the right and I am not really sure how to fix it. It requires just a touch of stick input to keep it flying straight. Any suggestions?

if nose is turning to right then you need to back off the proportional trim not the gain trimmer
you may also check the spur gear at the bottom where the motor is turning. upper (close to the frame) gear could stripped too

With I first got my CX, a bunch of folks on forums were having the same problem, including myself. They suggested it was overheating and to cut out sections of the canopy to vent it. I did just that and the nose stopped turning! No idead if this is your cause as well, but you could fly without the canopy to see if running it cooler helps.
Good luck.

adjust your proprtional pot on the 3 in 1, you must make this adjustment with the heli unplugged. once you get it to hold well with the transmitter trim centered as you fly you will have to adjust thew trim somewhat. the heli will never stay totally locked in since the battery voltage drops which causes yaw. you will learn to fly the cx2 without trim and automatically make adjustments.

remove the canapy, adjust the proportional trim pot 1/8 turn, unplug the battery, replug in to rearm then fly. If it still yalls (that sounds southern):rolling then readjust.
Both of my cx2's will fly around the house using only the left stick and hover no handed.
