Hello,

I have a Raptor 50 V2, mostly stock but I upgraded the washout base and the head block with metal parts ( Thunder Tiger parts). However it seems like the hoops that goes around the grips towards the flybar carriers are binding somewhat, kind of like touching the head block when the flybar is fully tilted ( hope my explanation make sense!). I have checked to make sure that the collar under the head block is centered. (Thinggy with the two pins that goes into the washout base).

Is it normal? Maybe I just never noticed with the plastic hub....

Thank you!

The thingy your refereing to is the phazing ring. The way to align it is to put the flybar perfectly parallel to the tail boom, adjust the phaze ring till the inner and outer ball links on the swash line up perfectly. About the binding, I think Raptor Technique covers it. Here is a link to the web site http://www.raptortechnique.com/index.html

Thank you for the reply.... trying to find the info on Raptortechinque but no luck yet.

Binding seems to be caused by the flybar carrier that hits the "hoops" when the flybar is tilted ( see pic ).
