Jesterday I goo to field and I have two flight with my R90.
First flight least abut 7 miutes and ewerythin was ok.
The second flight after 2 minutes of flying I get the lock out in dead spiro.
Fortunatly my R90 get a grip few meters before ground.
The hole thing was wery strange because I have on this helicopter over 200 starts with this reciver and nothing similar hapened too yesterday.

- My qestions are :

- Anebodey else have a lockout with this reciver on 35 Mhz area

- Should I swiched to 149 DP reciver or I leave 5014 rec in helicopter.

- Is it 607 2,4 Ghz reciver good enough for 90 size birds ?

Thanx and regards

Sounds like the heli needs some work on it. I would look for noisy bearings, or some other type of metal to metal contact that would cause RF interference.
The reason I say the above, is you state you have 200 flights on the heli.

Switching to the 149 PCM is not going to change anything. It will most likely lockout also, if the heli is the problem.

2.4 ghz will be better and probably not lock out. But it will just mask the problem that may be there with the heli. Till the part or bearing fails.

Hi there.
As David says, there is for sure a problem that has developed on a heli that has worked flawlessly for 200 flights then suddenly locks out.
It could be many things that causes a lockout; noisy bearing, vibration damage on the rx/radiogear, exposed wire/intermittent short-circuit in a connector/servo-lead, etc. The list is virtually endless......

I've flown my 5014 in a Freya since the 14MZ came out, no problems on 35Mhz at all.
If the RX 5014 works for you in 200 flights, I think you can rest assured that the problem is not related to a "weakness" in the RX.

A thorough investigation of your heli is the only way to find the cause for the lockout.

Good luck.

Quick question... what software version are you using? Editor, Encoder?

Thx

Take note that 5014 on 35MHZ is _VERY_ sensitive to external interference, I proved it to futaba, just proximity to a "ugly" powered servo and your screwed.
Its much more prone to this then the same receiver on 72mhz.
I think thats why they came out with the 5114 with updated safety.

I suggest going 2.4ghz, you wont look back.

Got a similar lock out on mine with similar amount of flights on the rx. I am switching to 2.4ghz Fasst!! 7th flight on my new 600N pro!!! but the rx has been ina T-Rex 450SE and a 600E prior to the 600N without a glitch even!!
