This is an upgrade to the stock tail boom (replaces EFLH1160) for the E-flite Blade CP and/or the Blade CP Pro. The tail boom is 12" in length (same as stock) and is made from light weight aluminum tube. This tail boom will add to the look of your blade heli and compliment your other aluminum upgraded parts.
Why aluminum? It can take multiple boom strikes before needing replaced where as the stock tail boom or other carbon fiber booms loose their torsional rigidity after only ONE boom strike.
Tubing has long been used in structural applications because of its excellent strength to weight ratio. My booms are hands down the best option for your blade heli, just compare other materials and/or configurations below:
Stock hollow boom ~ 5.5g
My aluminum tubing boom ~ 6.2g (only 0.7grams more or 13%!)
Titanium tube ~ 11g (5.5g or 100% more than stock!)
The above weighs were estimated using the same diameter and length as the stock tail boom.
Installation is the same as if you were installing a new stock tail boom.
I have several of these for sale at $6.99 each plus S & H.
