I have a Logo 500 3D kit on the way and am looking at components. I'm going to use the BLS451 servos for the cyclic and was planning on a DS760 gyro and BLS252 tail servo. I noticed this servo as well as most used for the tail are 4.8V only. Is there some reason for this? I know I can use a VR to step down the 6V so I can still run the cyclic servos at 6V, but would be much simpler with a tail servo capable of 6V.

Thanks.
Ken

I've used the Hitec 6965 (http://www.bocabearings.com/main1.aspx?p=product&id=2323&n=SMR115-ZZ_#5)on the tail and it's pretty nimble and OK for 6V. The Futaba super fast tail servos have a reduced life expectancy on 6V.

Your link is to a bocabearing ;)

Here's one to the HS-6965HB (http://www.hitecrcd.com/servos/show?name=HS-6965HB).
