It comes partially assembled with servos installed - so it still fits in the box. You choose your radio system (with gyro in wanted) to suit your needs.

I can build it if the parts are there.
But for$450.00 plus $10.00 for somthing else,,,
Anyways,
That's the platform, Servos basically everything you and the radio is the only option.
I wished there was something that stated everything in the package,,
If this has the Frame and all hardware, Servos receiver and transmitter,,, I'd pick one up,, I just don't know based off your description wether or not, It's going to work on my TREX600N?
If Askman guarnteed that it everthing that I needed was there, Basically Strap it up to the Heli and your done ,,, I'd order one, FEDEX over Night...
I can work the Camera hook up out myself.

Right at the bottom of the discription:
"All mount comes with all servos (pan and tilt) ready to go." And they are continuous rotation robot servos.
Even tho it will bolt right up to your heli, so much of it is custom that you cant really build one that will work for everybody and expect it to be ready to go out of the box. Especially for under $500.
Also, If you are planning on using it with your nitro, i'd hang it from bungee.
I'm just using a cheap Futabe 6EX for camera controls.

Randall, have a little faith mate! Askman has an awesome reputation for doing the right thing by his customers. If you tell him the type of heli you are going to use the mount on, you can be absolutely sure that he will provide you with a mount which is suitable, and has everything you need.
I have bought two mast mounts from him as well as a mount for my Trex450, and a 360 degree APLG 50 mount which I hang under a hot-air balloon. They have all been superbly designed and made.
Trust me on this, Askman will see you right!

I saw the Futaba 6E controller. I looked at the one that has the 4 servos and RX at $189.00 That looks ver inexpensive.. :YeaBaby:

His site is very simple.
"All mount comes with all servos (pan and tilt) ready to go. "
I can build it if the parts are there.
Let us know how much time you spend on it, the 360* Robotic servo's, pulley's, belts, shafts, oil shocks, grommets, gimbal, G10 cutting (how many blades you go through) and more importantly, the final cost including the tools, materials and the total weight.
If you can offer this replacement guarantee to match Askman's, then you're in business :
"The mount comes with a 20% replacement guarantee. No matter how badly it is damaged, the cost will not be more than 20% of the purchase price. (in most cases, it will be repaired or repair part sent to you for cost of postage) this ensures long performance."
If you can do all of that and make a mount that equals or exceeds the Askman APGL 50-sized mount, for $450 or less with a sub-$90 crash replacement policy, than I suggest you start going into business ! :)

I wasn't sure of how he did bussiness.
As far as I can tell .. All I've heard is positives on Ask Man..
I was just unsure of what platform to get for my T600N.
He responded pretty quickly, I was surprised.
I didn't know if the equipment came with a Transmitter so I went and bought one just in-case,,
I picked up a JR SX600 for the Camera platform. 72 Mhz Channel 51.
I don't know if that will mess with the DX7 and the AR7000 on the TREX
The JR SX 600 came with 4 Servos, Switch, RX and mounting hardware.
I guess I'll have some extra parts for later. I picked the whole thing up for $120.00 Brand New from the LHS.

I built our first AP mount for the Trex-600E and it has seen weekly action for 9 months. As what we are being asked to provide has increased in complexity, we bought the APLG 360 pan/tilt as I simply don't have a spare 40-100 hours to spend engineering what someone else has already done.
I'm not afraid to try (and would no doubt enjoy the challenge) but as I have a 40hr/week job, a family that wants to see me, make and export 40 low-volt alarms a month and take AP shots, I finally admitted that I can't do everything... without a 36 hour day being invented.
My new Askam goes flying this weekend for the first time. I have video requests so it is the best option for me at the moment. I still want to make a 270-deg front mount though... in my spare time...

I had to pay a Contract lawyer today and that screwed me outta getting the AP 50 Platform..
My Banker guy was whinning about needing some contracts to prove I had a home bussiness,,,:mad:
I swear,, I think my Bank guy used to be the Hall Monitor in High School.
That is one of the real down sides of having your own business.
Sometimes showing them your past 1099's help, but is no proof of future income

I started the bussiness as a DBA Home bussiness,, I don't have any 1099's yet/
I guess the first year as a new bussiness owner has a down side. :P
I also got some info that i'm getting deployed to Iraq in six months, I hope there is a Tax shelter on that one. >>>>?????
I plan on setting up an allotment to the business account to show income while I'm gone. My wife hates that idea, But I think it's a good one to show income while deployed>> ?? :arggg:

Randall, I will vouch for Askman's products and can assure you as others have that his help and support of all of his products and customers is second to NONE. You won't be disappointed dealing with him. I personally own and use 3 different mounts built by him and very happy with all 3. If you haven't yet dealt with Askman (Andrey), you owe yourself the treat!
