Guys,
I keep getting blade strikes. I know parts are not expensive, but if you break them a lot it gets expensive. I am thinking of increasing the distance between the rotors. Where can I get a longer shaft that will work without too much modification? What else can I try instead of or together with longer shafts?
Thanks.

Get a shorter flybar, that will cure most of it. also remember this heli should not be flown with stick banging going on, fly it more scale like and it will be fine also. If you really want to bang it around, try a Collective Pitch heli instead.

It won't make it unstable as long as you dont shorten it too much, that blade cx2 link has them for sale on their site.

I am aware of the site that has it and I have extra parts to tweak.
I wanted to know what lenght to cut off. I guess I could simply move the weight and and find out myself and cut the end that I don't need huh.
what is the minimum that flybar length should be?
Hey Ciprian, You will get a 2 for 1 if you install the "X"treme extended inner shaft as I did with all other Xtreme parts, plus some Eflite aluminum. This shaft not only adds 5mm separation between the lower and upper blades (which I also changed to the much stiffer Xtreme white) but the flybar pivot and cap are designed so that stock flybar downward travel is restricted so that it it doesn't travel nowhere near as far as in the stock Eflite blue inner shaft. It doesn't get near the lower blade. With some pretty quick stick movements, I have never had a flybar/blade strike drop it out of the sky. I think this part, the Xtreme blade holders, and blades were the best investments I made on my CX2. The rest was mostly to "pretty it up."
