OK, I know this is a stupid question, but why stop now...

What blade holders work well on the 500 and 600? I've tried a couple, but one is way too sloppy, and the other has this strange "T-Rex" symbol on it.

Any input appreciated,
John

If you use Radix blades, maybe these will fit;

That is the blade holder I have for my L500 as well. The yellow and black match the colors of my tail and main blades.:YeaBaby:

Hmmm, someone needs to tell Mikado to include their own blade holders like a certain Taiwanese company does!

OK, here's my first post with something I have expertise on!

I got one from Century (http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXLMR0&P=FR), the Revolution one that Shawn recommended, and the one of the Radix holders.

I originally bought the Century one, but it's just too floppy on the blades. The thickness of the openings is a little much, and they're too wide. That's what got me started on this search.

The Radix ones are about the same thickness of the opening as the Revolution. The Radix one, however, again, is a little too wide, although not as wide as the Century. The Revolution is pretty good in both directions.

The one thing I like about the Century is its height. It holds the rotors almost level with the tail boom. The Revolution is about 2.75" shorter, and the Radix another 2" shorter than that - too short IMHO.

Of these, the Revolution Shawn recommended is the best. I wish it were taller, however, but that's pretty minor. It's not as floppy side-to-side as the Century, nor as short as the Radix.

The one other I'm curious about is this (http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXLMP9&P=FR) other one from Century. I'm happy enough with the Revolution one that I probably won't check it out - it solves my problems.

THANKS Shawn!

Now thats a good idea. Would love to see some mikado ones available. Last time i went looking in local hobby shops most if not all had that taiwanese junk and nothing else!

Just got mine, way too short! Blades almost touch the boom and if you have a flybar, it sticks up at a big angle.

I know why, cos every pic of Curtis' helis shows his blades strapped down on the boom! Hence he likes it that way. It's not so bad if you have a flybarless heli.
