Does anyone use the airtronics servos on their rex? I just got three for mine.

hs-56 $26.99
Motor Type: 3 pole ferrite
Operating Speed: .12sec/60° AT 4.8 Volt
Output Torque: 1.2kg.cm(16.66oz.in) @ 4.8 Volt
Weight: 11.2g

hs-65 $25.99
Motor Type: 3 pole ferrite
Operating Speed: .0.14/60° @ 4.8V
Output Torque: 24.99 oz-in @ 4.8V
Weight: (11.2g)

94091z $17.95
Motor Type: 3 pole ferrite
Operating Speed: ..12/60° AT 4.8 Volt
Output Torque: (18oz.in) AT 4.8 Volt
Weight: 9.0g

Summarized= two grams less, even torque than 56 slightly less than 65, with the same or faster response time and way cheaper:thumbup:

Specs look pretty good.

Hitec HS65: 0.92" x 0.45" x 0.94"
ATX 94091: 0.91" x 0.44" x 0.87"

Ok, so its just a tad bit smaller.
Sounds like it should fit.

Im curious as to how they save 2 grams, though.

The ATX has plastic gears though. I looked, but couldnt find a metal gear set for them.
I'm sure you'll be going through your fair share of stripped gears on them things.
Gears look like about $4 a set, or individual gears, (most for less than a buck)

They dont look like too bad a servo's

I am running the 94091 servos in (2) 450 sized helicopters. They are great servos. I am really happy with them. I picked up 6 more from Hobby people on sale for $11.99. Regular sale price is $13.99.

I have HS-56 and HS-65's. I have a set of 65's in my Diablo. great helicopter and great servos. For the money I will use the 94091's.
