will the 977 charge a123 cells? it says on the instruction sheet that it'll do lipo and li-ion, but that's it. no mention of liFE cells. anyone done it?

The 977 doesn't have a specific setting to do A123. This also wouldn't be the best options put one of the adaptors on like the (Daptor). The charger needs to be able to charge 2.5 Ni-mh Ni-cd for each A123 cell. The 977 will do 8 so with the Daptor you could charge a 3s1p pack. If your only looking to charge only that size pack then your in. Here's a link if your interested. The Daptor is about 1/4 down the page:

well if it'll only do a 3 cell pack, then i'm out. i've already got the 977, so i was hoping it'd work. looks like the 1010 is in the near future.
