So what's it mean when my AR 7000 is blinking and I'm not trying to bind it to the transmitter?

It means the "Quick reconnect" feature has triggered in. It's available on new batch of spektrum receiver. If a "low/off power" occur (a brown out) whitin 15 seconds, the tx and rx should rebind super fast. (don't remember the exact time)

So if you unplugged your RX and powered it back right away (withing 15 sec.) it should flash.

The normal way you should see that is landing after a flight, if it is blinking, you had a low power issue even if you did not notived it! :(

Wow....thanks.....That makes perfect sense with what I had noticed while playing with it on the ground.

If would turn it off and then turn it back on within a 2-3 seconds. It seemed to "come to life" way quicker than the normal boot up.

Sweet, Thanks for the info.

Daniel

How long does it takes on the bench... I think I remember reading numbers like 0.5 sec or something like this... Something you may... not notice :)

I just bought a new AR9000 last week and it is not one of the new batch :(

Ok...sorry for laggin.....

The reboot time is not even noticable. I flip the heli switch off for one second and then when I power it back on it is active immediatly. My only other question though is the blinking lights. If I turn things off and then back on in different order the lights blink differently.

I'd sure like to have some information regarding what the blinks mean.
