I Just purchased my Raptor 50 v2 kit, and am now looking at radios..

Ive decided to get the top of line radio for now - and im looking at this site which lets you build your custom radio system

www.servocity.com

I have the option of getting 4 servos (already ordered the Futaba 401 gyro with S9252 servo for tail)

So - Im guessing the next important servo is throttle?
Would high torque be the best here? or high speed?

the S3151 is a digital servo at 4.8v provides 43.0 oz/in at .21 sec for 60*

ill probably use 3 of these for the cyclic and collective servos..
and may use one for the throttle, but was wondering if it would be better to use this for throttle...

S9252 4.8v provides 91.6 oz/in at .14 sec for 60*

almost twice the power and faster....

or even..

S9255 Heli High Speed/High Torque Servo 4.8v 112 oz/in at .17 sec for 60*

so is speed or torque more important for a throttle servo?

and should i just get all S9252 servos and not worry about upgrading in the near future? i think its around 700.00 for radio, and all servos..

not too worried about price just wondering what would be the enthusiasts choice.

Will i notice a significant difference in using the higher torque servos?

thanks

Do you mean the 9253 or 9254 with the 401?
The next important servo is the pitch servo followed by the evevator and aileron
and lastly throttle as far as torque goes any way.
I would recomend 9252's on cyclic and probably pitch It really depends what sort of flying you are intending to do if your into aerobatics
and 3d than you will benefit from good quality digi servos if your only hovering around there is probably not as much benefit
as far as throttle and gyro servo goes a high speed is more important than high torque and for cyc/coll it is better to have more torque than speed. :)

Keep in mine that the more different servos you use the more gearsets you will need to fix them. ;)

I run all 9252's except my Gyro Servo. Makes it simple to only keep 2 separate gearsets extra at any given time.

You may want to get the Heli Version of that radio though. I think it is the 9CHPS??

Is Servo City a grey market dealer? You may have trouble getting your stuff warrantied by anyone but them if you have any trouble? Not 100% sure myself, but I definitely would be careful.
