Already got the hotel booked and if YOU haven't already booked a room....bring your camping gear as they are pretty much all booked up!

If you only go to 1 event in your life...IRCHA is the one!

Just booked my reservations at the Raddison at $59.00 a night. (AMA rate)

See you guys there.

There is plenty of motels in Muncie. The only one I know I would not stay at is the Best Value Inn. The motels in Anderson are nice also and only about 20 plus minutes from the Jamboree site.
Raddison is definitely the best deal in Muncie. This is a 5 star full service hotel that the rooms are normally in the $150 a night price range. AMA did a super job of setting up a rate with them for $59 a night for the normal rooms and $69 a night for the suites. With the suites there is a complimentary open bar each evening on the floor the suites are located.

John,
No problem, I have been going to Muncie at least once a year since 1995. Hell sometimes I have been there 3 times in the same year. 2001 I spent 30 days in Muncie <G>. So I have learned what motels and hotels are decent.
Muncie is a nice little college town, I enjoy going into the entertainment district in the center of the college. There is some great food and bars in there. Lots of people that visit never see that part of town.

David what is up with the best value inn?

The part of town David is talking about is about 20 minutes from the IRCHA/AMA Flying site. TONS of restaurants and hotels and bars. ;)

See everybody at IRCHA!! Really looking forward to it!!

Beast,
The Best Value Inn use to be the Ramada Inn. Before it was the Ramada it was something else. That place has sucked ever since I have been going to Muncie. I don't even think the cockroaches stay overnight.
I told a couple of people last year before they stayed at the Best Value they should get a room somewhere else. At the Jamboree they came up to me and said they wish they would have listened to me.

Ask Brooklyn ( John Grable) here on Helifreak about the Best Value Inn. <G>

Beast...why are you asking about the Best Value? I already have either 3 or 4 rooms reserved for us at the Signiature Inn...

Good one David!! That is pretty funny.

We stayed at what used to be the Radisson last year. Very nice and a lot closer than the signature. It is in downtown about 5 minutes away from the field and is a historic hotel.

OK...I need to know where all the freaks are staying...if we are all staying at the Radisson...I need to change my reservations I have at the Signature Inn...

I have reservations at both the Signature and the Raddison ( Hotel Roberts). If I stay at the Raddison, have to drive across town to eating places. If I stay at the Signature, can walk to some food places. Raddison is definitely the best deal in Muncie if you don't mind leaving all your stuff in the vehicle. If you must haul it to the room, the Raddison sucks. But the homeless from the shelter next door will help you haul stuff back and forth to the room at the Raddison <G>.

Greg: I wish I knew you had 4 rooms at the Signature. I got a room about a month ago, and they only way they gave me the room is that I told them wattybotts would wash dishes and mop the floors. So, we're ad the signature!
