I havea Blade CX evry time I spool it up I have to adjust the Screw inside for the motors. It either goes to the left or the Right so I always have to take the canopy off to set the screws. Is this normal?
I made a little hole in tha canopy to make it easier.
Thanks

should stay steady... make sure you unplug the battery to adjust too..

you will still need to adjust rudder a bit when you fly but also if the battery is weak or voltage drops down (getting depleted) it will make your heli to fly weired.

if you heli moves left and right (shaking) then your gain not proportional adjustment.

Make sure you are unplugging the battery each time you adjust the proportional pot, if its the original Yellow CX heli, then you can cut cooling holes in the canopy to help, but its not ever going to totally go away and you will soon learn to fly it and compensate at the same time. Also if you invest in a Good battery ( Flight Power, ThunderPower) you will notice it holds alot better too as the stock battery loses voltage very fast and doesn't provide enough juice ( it can only give 6 amps while others give 12 or more)

Carlo, is it me or ?? but now I am flying the cx2 with the dx6i I dont have to mess with the rudder trim that much any more.

Stock tx I had it set so I would have full right trim and as the battery wore down it would be at full left when about dead. But with the dx6i seems I start out almost full right and only click maybe 3 or 4 times to the left and thats it! Maybe I should adjust some linkages now??

The stock transmitter has really cheap gimbals attached to even cheaper position potentiometers, the pots wear out quickly and never actually center, so you were probably noticing that as soon as u moved the rudder and let the stick recenter, it would drift a little differently each time. DX6I has much better electronics in it.

yeah that works really well i also cut to little holes in the window so i can adjust the pot with canopy on.....if you have a hole punch that works great makes to nice round little holes....

Okay it was me, or maybe I was setting up with half dead battery. 4 batteries tonight all drained and had to add left rudder as the battery died. Maybe not as bad, but still more noticeable than I said before.

With my CX, I had to ventilate by cutting some nice vents into the canopy and it cured the rotating. BUT, near the end of the flight when heat it built up and the battery starts getting low, it will start to turn again.
