Hi Guys,

First post on Helifreak ! I'm just getting back into helis and am repairing my 2000!!! Logo 20 that was crashed almost 4 yrs ago . The repairs are going well but I'm concerned that the tail belt has a lot of drag . I've checked the individual pulleys and all are free . It's so long ago that I originally built this bird that I can't remember if this is normal or not . I've assembled it a few times just to make sure I got everything right , especially the 90 deg twist .

I just got a TRex flying and look forward to getting the Logo in the air again but I think I hear the call of a 500 or 600 with Vbar in the future !

Any help would be appreciated !

Thanks,
Marc

Because of the small drive pulleys they are by standards tight feeling and definetely have a drag to them, this is and has been the same case with the Logo 14s as well that I had. Best to do is to simply ensure your slack is enough where you feel the tightness of the belt itself is not impacting drag and you have minimal slap in the air and you should be good to go. It always bothered me how draggy the belt system on the 20 and 14 felt... By sounds of things you have looked at it well, I am confident you are ok with what you have done, cheers.
