I bought some A123 1100mAh cells for my MiniTitan, but that 5S config wasnīt as powerful as I had hoped..
So, now I wonder if these cells could be used to power receiver and servos of my Freya.

1100mAh capacity isnīt enough, so I need connect at least 2 parallel.. Or maybe more, comments?
Alternative is to use 2300mAh cells, but what kind of pack should it be, 2S1P or 2S2P.

Adding cells parallel would add some protection against cell failure..

It's rare for RX batteries to fail - I don't think parallel configurations provide protection

What you need to look at is weight - over 200 grams and you're carrying too much
It's hard to beat a 4 or 5 cell 4/5 A size rated at 2000mah~2500mah
This pack configuration on the tonque balances the Freya nicely

2S 2300mAh pack weights 166g and a regulator weights maybe 35g...
Some have used those cells without regulator but I will use one.

So fast charge 2000mAh pack for 200g.. Should be ok?

Should be fine

Charge rate = 2300mah
