Hi
I originally posted this in Bob's 600 build thread but did not get a response :( so I thought I would post here to see if anybody could help me.

"Hi
In Bobs vids he shows how to set up a gov with the DX7 using the flight mode switch so he could have three rpm settings,I have looked at my FF7 and I think I could do the same, but when I look in the P Mix menu in my FF7 it is different to the DX7, in the FF7 I have the rate menus and the offset as in the DX7 but I also have Mas>CH1 and Slv>CH4 as well as the switch menu, I understand the rate, Offset and Switch menus but not the Master and Slave menus.
Can I set the FF7 to have three settings on my TJPro on the Idle up switch like Bob did"

If anybody has any ideas I would be very grateful because I am at the stage when I need this info

Thanks

Simon

Master needs to be the throttle channel. Slave needs to be the channel the aux lead from the governor is plugged into. The other lead from the governor should be plugged into the throttle channel.
If the FF7 you have is the same as the 7C here in the USA.
Just go into the PARA menu and assign the CH 7 switch to be the same switch as the idle up switch. Then the speed of the governor will change with the idle up switch is changed. You can have a speed for Normal mode, Idle 1, Idle 2.

When I turn on the the idle switch to stunt 1 the light on the gov is green saying that it is on and when i turn to idle 2 the light goes red saying that it is off, i have the epa set to 100-100 both ways but cant figure this out, i thought that if i had normal on the light should be green (which it is) then idle 1 should be red (but its not its green)and do a mix to get the gov to work, then idle 2 should be green (but it is red) and then I should just adjust the epa to get the desired head speed :arggg:
Any help on this?

Thanks

SImon
By the way the radio is a F7C

Do you have the throttle curve activated in idle 2? Also do you have a throttle curve setup in idle 2?

Hi David
Yes I have idle 2 activated and have a V curve in the setup (100-75-50-75-100)

Check the govenor menu in the radio and see if that is the problem.
