Hi Finless, great videos - thanks. I've completed a 5003D build but will redo some of it based on your suggestions. Some things that would really be of interest.......radio/servo/gyro installation and mechanical set-up..........Motor installation and gear meshing...............tracking.
Thanks again.
Allot of that stuff he does in depth in his other videos on different helis, but im sure he do a quick overveiw and things specific to the Logo, for expamble where to put the gryo, and setup of the tail servo and such, things like tracking they blades he might not go though as much but im sure he'll tell us wicth links to adjust

Where to put the V-Bar module, and where to put its gyro package... :smokin:

I wont be doing a v-bar in this build. Later if Mikado wants me to I will.

The more I think about it, I think this heli would make an awesome A123 setup on about 12S. It's big, but also very light weight. I bet you could get decent performance out of it.
I don't fly 3D yet (maybe someday), and have been wanting a bigger electric like a Trex600 or similar for a while to set up on A123, and just use for gentle flying. Being able to recharge in 10-15mins would be nice :)
Anyone know of any threads where this has been done already?

You should see the way the flybar version flies first. It is extremely smooth and agile at the same time and still has lots of authority. V-bar adds a whole extra level of complexity.

Yep my 500 had a flybar at one time and it flew great but the V-Bar has more power and its a lot EZer on my packs not to mention very COOL:YeaBaby:

I'm curious about the electronics.
I just bought a 500 3D. Lot more decisions to make than when I got
my T-Rex

I also am very appreciative of all the hard work Bob puts into his videos.
It has helped a newbie like me to get a grasp of what it takes to build a heli.
It would be very difficult to open a box and look at all that stuff in there, without first
having watched Bob make some sense of it all.
Again, Thanks

Oh Bob you are killing me. I am looking into this thread kinda 20 times a day, and there is never a video :D
You know how excited i am every time to possibly find a new video..?
I wish you would have done the Logo build fast and the T500 build slow :P
Just joking, but still really looking forward to new videos, mine should be here in 1-2 weeks..

I will have SEVERAL videos up today... shot a bunch and they are compressing. I swear it take me longer to compress than to shoot them!

Time to upgrade to a quad-core then. My work machine is twice as fast as my home AMD dual-core for video processing.

Hehehehe.... if you knew how fast I can shoot these vids I am pretty sure I can do it faster than your quad can compress them :)

Bob, did you go with the Jazz 80 or the Jazz 55?
Curious. I have a Jazz 55 on the way for mine. Couldn't pass up a smokin deal at 180 bucks.

Honestly I don;t know which Mikado is sending me but if I was a betting man it would be the 80. I am pretty excited as this will be my FIRST Jazz ESC I have ever used because I couldnt afford one and justify the cost!
Props to Mikado for taking care of me on this... My budget was allowing for an Align 75 ESC..... Mikado stepped up and made sure I was using something THEY wanted to see others use for best performance. Based on all I know about this ESC it's gonna rock!
THANK YOU MIKADO!

If your not sure, I'll bet on the Jazz 80 also (unless they want you to show off the new Jive). Its probably the best ESC you can get for running a 6S setup and I've been very happy with mine. The soft start is really nice and at first I thought 12 seconds seemed too long but it seems just about right. Also, the internal BEC works fine as a backup at 5V (fixed) and 4A max load but since then I've switched over to a CC BEC running at 6V.
