I had a feed back from MA.

Good news, they should receive materials this week for the tail.
As soon they have it they will send back all returned open tail.

So what is the list of parts now that must be sent back to MA?

1. Tail rotor gears
2. Tail rotor shaft tube?

Is that it? Lets get a list going so us newbie owners know what parts to send in. Thanks for everyones input.

If you still have the open gear box with the black gears. You need to send in the gear box. MA will change the gears and the output shaft.

MA has had my T/R for quite some time now. At first it was we are waiting for parts. The parts arrived, no repairs were made. I asked again, what the estimated response time will be. No answer :dontknow So now we are at 9 June, and i asked again when i could expect my T/R to be repaired. A not so friendly response said they would have the parts in a couple of days, and now it's the 22nd, and still no luck on getting this thing back. Any updates on the status of parts, and when we can expect to have them shipped back to us? I understand this is a new model, and with that comes with some growing pains. But this is becoming a pain.

I talk to Tim ,the shafts and collars will be in today or tomorrow. As soon as they are there he is going to redo the tail boxes there and get them back to you. I am waiting on a shaft and gear too.

I guess I'm just a chance taker, I did replace the T/R control rod with a longer one from central hobbies with titanium ends. I have the open tail box with black gears, and have about 3 gallons of fuel through the bird. I dont do any heavy 3D (pilot capability) but I can do some flips rolls, and loops sokme pretty ugly tic tocks as well. I mainly use the bird for Camera work and run 110 V Tails with no problems.

Joel Mann flew it in a mild 3D workout and started to strip the crown gear, probably due to not have the mesh set tight enough.

I have the TRM 231 and I have had virtually no problems at all. Maybe I'm just lucky. I average 21 minutes a tank so it has a lot of time in 3 gallons. Plus John is still running his as it came out of the box withno failures as of yet.

I'll keep flying it and keep up the maintenance to see how long she will go without any major problems.

I'm sure MA will continue to make the fixes as needed and the Spectra will only get better.

Anyway just figured I'de add my 2 cents worth as I havent been around for a while.

if you sent your t/r case back, then they shipped them out last week.

Send them an email or give them a call, they'll get you fixed up
