The Mikado V-bar is bad ass but out of my price range. I use a flybar on my Logo 6003D and it does quite well.

Yes, V-Bar cost $700 but also has a built in tail gyro. This one does not have a tail gyro. So if it's half, you still need a tail gryo and will bring the total price up.
Lets say it goes for $300 then add $185 for a Solid G gyro or $220 Spartan 760 = around $500

Chances are, if you have a heli you already have a tail gyro. If you're starting from scratch I guess it's something to factor in though.

Here is another test flight with this system. This was shot last Sunday at Burnaby Lake field. Alvin shows yet again awesome pilot skills.

Still waiting to hear on the price. It sounds like it may cost nearly as much as my Blade 400 kit costs. But, if so, the good news...... If it can handle everything in the latest video I watched, it can DEFINITELY handle my "much tamer" flying with ease  It will be a lot of money just to simplify my head setup...but, if the price is right, it may be worth it to me. Why does everyone else want one? I'm still sorting out all of the advantages/disadvantages of this system.

- Reduction in head parts/complexity
- easier mechanical setup
- longer flight time
I want to get at 500/550 machine and build it as a flybarless heli.

Don't confuse the Canada system with others reported on this thread
Here's the one
QUOTE=alvinchai;523371]There's no release date yet as of today, we are constantly trying new stuff and with the rainy season over here in Vancouver, its hard to get any valuable stick time :(
I'm currently running a 430XL, stock esc, 13T @ 100% throttle, putting back around 1550mah after a 4 minute flight. The good thing about flybarless is that you will be able to get crazy fast cyclic if you want to, yet maintaining stability.[/QUOTE]

Hey herman, there was a post (under flybarless/new 450 flybarless) that mentioned the gyrobot. There or on the gyrobot web site (before release) they were indicating that it would be LESS than existing systems. By that I was assuming it would be at least less than the V-bar system. Not knowing a lot about these systems but is appears this price is higher than existing systems.
I am aware of the one from BC and hoping it comes to market priced to "expand" the flybarless market that has to date been priced out of reach of the majority of RC Heli pilots.

The prices of the 3 axes systems are way to high IMHO even when you extract the price of a top Gyro like the DS760.
When this new two axes system would cost the equivalent of a 3-axes minus the price of a Gyro than it would be better (lighter and more compact) to buy a VStabi ,Gyrobot or whatever 3-axes system.
I'm actually hoping that this 2-axes system will hit the market with a considerably lower and competing price, that would make it affordable for many and ensure that it will be very popular.
Otherwise it's another virtual flybar system to choose from, for a small segment of the RC market.

That's definitely not the one this thread was started about.

Jesus !! For that price I'd rather build another heli.
If it was a couple maybe even a $250 upgrade that's one thing but 5 -$800 total for the setup and no Penta head. No Way.....
If they had a four or five blade head and complete (I mean completely flawless) setup for the 450 with a $500 total investment with smooookin performance I'd consider it. There's no way I'd do a chopped up $800 - $1000 upgrade to a bird I have less than $800 in and deal with phasing and balance issues.
I'd rather get married again. And my friends.... That aint gonna happen :)

Hey Fireup,
How does the CSM compare to the Vstabi in FFF?

Hey Fireup,
How does the CSM compare to the Vstabi in FFF?
They are very close. They both perform very well in FFF. I like V-Bar better mainly for the size/cleaner setup and single user interface.

Does CSM have any correction for "pitching up" at high speed?

Yes, because of the HH element in the gyro, it prevent pitching up at FFF. It doesn't have torqe comp. with pitch stick because the tail is independent.

Hi All,
I've seen a few requests for the price. I'm reluctant to post an exact price on the forum, because it seems too much like direct advertising which is against forum rules. But production of the first batch is almost complete, we're just at the QA stage now. So, soon.

Cool, you should send 1 to fireup or finless for testing and maybe a review. I'm sure that would boost sales.
