Do you know if the value of ATV
(for example 95% for rudder)
is the same of AFR?

it is the same but remember for futaba gyro, the rudder atv or afr controls the piro speed not the end point.

You mean that if I want to increase or reduce the
rudder speed (and use different speeds on different conditions)
I can use only the AFR (single) on the 14mz
For the limit I have to set them directly on the gyro ....
Hope I'm correct

Yes AFR will control the pirouette speed in different flight conditions.
For travel adjustment that needs to be done on the GY 601 menu.

I prefer to use the AFR to control piro speed instead of the ATV. I leave the ATV defaulted to 100%

With the AFR the rate is handled within a function. So if anything is mixed with that channel it handles it also. ATV just controls the one channel.
AFR= Adjustable Function Rate
ATV = Adjustable Travel Volume

For example if you adjust ATV one side 80% and the other side 100%. Then the neutral is offset some.
With AFR if the ends are different, the neutral stays the same.

I agree its about time someone explained the meaning of ATV and AFR it makes alot more sense now why you use the AFR over the ATV.

On the 14MZ you should find that the ATV function is common in ALL conditions. Whereas, with the AFR, this is adjustable for different settings for each condition being used.
Therefore the ATV can be used to set the overall control stroke required and the AFR can be used to adjust individual stroke in each condition.
The neutral moving, also happened with the 9ZAP. If you set different values for A & B in the ATV ( 40% & 100% ) you will notice that the centre or neutral will be be dagged away from its normal setting. If the same is done using the AFR, the centre / neutral will remain in the same place.

Finally got around to reading this post and maybe this will answer my question. I was using ATV to adjust my travel endpoint or Pyro. When I switch to low rates or to Idle up the rudder servo would operate in slow motion. Could this be my problem?
