I'm compiling the event schedule, it's on three note pages. There is plenty of flight line to do pretty much everything we want, so it's going to be a fun filled busy weekend. Looking forward to seeing everyone.

Outrage RC....
although because of our extremely busy schedule during September and October...you will only be seeing me in VA this weekend...yeah I know...it sucks...as I say...those who can Fly...Fly...those that can't...Manage Teams! LOL!
We were hoping to have HC at the event...but he has other commitments this weekend...
Anyway...just wanted to let you know that I will also be bringing a lot of batteries for pilots to test out our Outrage XP line of batteries...Although I will not have batteries to sell...Hobby Hangar is an Outrage XP dealer and should have quite a few batteries available for sale if you are interested after you test fly my packs...
Some of the sizes I will have with me for testing are:
3S 2200mAh 25C
3S 2200mAh 30C
5S 3700mAh 25C
5S 5000mAh 25C
6S 2500mAh 25C
6S 2500mAh 30C
6S 3000mAh 25C
6S 5000mAH 25C
8S 3700mAh 25C Brick
10S 3700mAh 25C Brick
10S 3700mAh 25C Stick
10S 4200mAh 25C Stick
10S 5000mAh 30C Stick
I most likely have others...just can't remember what I have available for sure to test fly...but if you want to try a battery...just come up and ask!

no problem...might want to try the 10S 4200 also...had some good comments about that pack in a Logo 600 from a HOT pilot when out at the Mt Pleasant, TX event a couple of weeks ago!

I tried some outrage packs on my 500 at the VARCHA funfly, GREAT PACKS. the prices are miles better that TP or FP, and they are better quality packs
for trex 500's the 2500mah 30C are great for crazy stick banging, and the 3000mah 25c are great for more flight time.
the 3s 2200 25C's are only 60$ and the 6s 2500 25c's are only 140$, and the 6s 3000 25c and the 6s 2500 30c are only 180$

so daytime smackdown competition?
Dont know yet. If there is an interest we may have one, but its still up in the air. Dont worry LMT, if you really want to fly with the big dogs we can let you have some demo time right in between Bert and Marcus. :)

Wow what a great event! Be SURE to mark your calendars for this event next year. The talent at the event, the pilot Q&A session and Curtis's autorotation clinics/demos were off the hook ! Something was going on all the time.
Here's a bunch of random photos ==> here (http://www.flyupyours.com/fred08/index.htm)

Thanks to those who made this even possible.
It was cool asking to top pilot questions, and they were all very nice and took thier time to answer your questions.
The coolest thing I got to see there was the Xeongear new night flying setup. Those LED lights were WAY brighter then the standard Align glow string night ships. I want to do a review on these and post it on the night flying forum.
The night flight was so awesome, too bad the guy with the Xeongear had hos negative wire go out on him and he lost his main light, But he still flew an awesome flight with just a disc and tail lights. I was very impressed. I guess he crashed about 20 seconds before his timer was going to tell him to land. It was an awesome flight.

Yes, the even was OFF THE HOOK!!!! Sign me up for next year. I had people from out of town that kept looking for me but my phone mysteriously wasn't working :YeaBaby:
I LOVE the part with the plane and the heli crossing path at the same time. THAT WAS AWESOME. Being able to listed to other people's questions to the pros and their answers... oh and eating with them.... that was just TOO MUCH!!!
Did anyone made comments on the location and the club???? The club's club house had a big flat screen TV with cable... nice bathrooms, power supplies all over the field, a nice section with a roof to eat... that was like the Hilton of all clubs. I hope we didn't destroy the facility and they let us come back next year. REALLY REALLY GOOD JOB from all the organizers.
I also bought the night set.. i can't wait until I set it up. The guys that makes that was really nice also. He said he would email me the instructions for the add on that would allow me to control the lights and dim them from my radio in flight and he did that same night.... I love it when I person knows how to run his business :noteworthy

Great event and a very nice field.I got to meet Clay and i can say he isnt exactly the hard-case I thought he would be.I owe Beast from Miniature Aircraft big-time for taking the time (over an hour)to help me get my Logo right.Greg Alderman was generous enough to get me some parts from his personal stash.Nothing but Outrage for me from now on!
