Thrust bearings for tail rotor

I wrote those instructions and my tail was solid until it blew up. The bottom line is it's a bad design for 2 reasons. First and foremost is the load placed on the bolt where it enters the hub and second, because it's very hard to adjust properly.

The adjustment is a PITA because it only takes a FCH either way to be too tight or too loose.

quick question....with the 600 grip set up,do the cap screws lock in hard or do you set the load on the bearing with them?
